Spring is in the air. Fox cubs spotted last week in Freeport, Maine
In my long list of life goals, locking eyes with a fox is pretty high up there.
We have a fox or two that come around now and then. It is a little scary at night walking the dog and the fox crosses our path about 12 feet away.
Where can I get these shoes?! I must have them for the summer.

Almost done! I’ve been hard at work on a series of 8-bit cross stitches for somebody special!
This is awesome!

We all feel like that now and again. Thanks for posting and sharing emotions that most of us are ashamed of showing to the word. Also, I went to high school with Erin. Such a small and wonderful world when people can link up and share the things they love.
I don’t know what started it, really - maybe it was the fact that Brent and I had gotten in an argument on Friday night over the fact he finds my irrational fear of insects silly (at dinner, with friends, no less). Maybe it was that Everly has been refusing to take naps for the past few days and…

Actually took another four hours. Qualifying my lady as a legitimate viking.
One of the coolest baby-having photos ever. I hope I will be this metal if my time comes to pop out a baby.
My friends know me too well! Lorenna’s Mom made me an entire flan for my birthday!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
while the baby bug has bitten me, and I am completed infected with its venom, I’ve only been married for 3 months. I think it totally makes sense that we are choosing to wait a little bit and just be married for at least a year before we start even trying for a little one. there’s so much we want…
I have the same feelings and I’m 27 and have been married for 2 years. All I can think about is baby baby baby and I also feel a little jealous whenever I find out a friend is pregnant (especially with a baby girl). We are waiting until we buy a house to start a family but it is making me crazy. So you’re not alone in how you feel. Especially with all the access to parenting and baby information, it is hard to escape. I find myself daydreaming about being pregnant or holding a baby in my arms. It is completely normal, blame biology.
One of Everly’s favorite teethers so far has been a cold dill pickle. We only let her chew on it under close supervision as I have a fear that she’ll somehow chomp off a little piece - but so far they’ve held together extremely well, even after 5 minutes of gumming it to death with her two little teeth.
I would have never thought of this on my own, but several seasoned mother’s suggested I try it. Everly loves it so much that she cries every time I take it away from her.
Truthfully, that’s not really surprising as she comes from a long line of dill pickle lovers. I have been known to eat entire jar in one sitting if a particularly engaging episode of Antiques Roadshow was on tv.
So good!!
Love,
M
What a discerning baby you have, Melissa! When I was a kid, I loved pickles so much I drank the juice straight from the jar. Just between you and me, I would totally do that today except now I know it’s basically sodium water and not exactly “nutritious.” Boo for nutrition. Hooray for pickles!
I did the same thing! My parents have a video of me with a pickle jar on the tray of my baby walker dunking the pickle into the juice.
